Photo catalogue or text profile: what you actually learn

Two models with two very different promises. A sober comparison, without advertising either one.

Anyone searching in Switzerland for male companionship runs into essentially two forms of presentation. Both have a logic, and both have a price. It is worth knowing that price before you choose.

Two models, two promises

The image catalogue promises immediacy. You see at once who you would get and decide in seconds. That is efficient and feels safe, because visual information is easy to process.

The text profile promises depth. You read how someone carries himself, how he communicates, which languages he genuinely handles. It takes longer and feels vaguer at first.

The question isn't which model is better, but which information actually helps your specific decision.

What an image answers

Appearance, rough age, style, build. That is real, and for many women it matters. Anyone claiming otherwise isn't being honest.

What an image doesn't answer: punctuality, handling a conversation, respecting boundaries, behaviour in a room full of strangers, reliability around arrangements. That is exactly where an evening is decided. On those, a photo is silent.

There is a second, often overlooked point: a public image is also information with reach about *you*. It is findable, it can be reverse-searched, and it links a person to a context. Discretion isn't one-directional.

What a text reveals that an image never shows

A well-written profile shows you bearing. How he talks about women. Whether he mentions boundaries before being asked. Whether he admits what he isn't. Whether he gives detail or only categories.

It also shows you language level, incorruptibly. Someone who writes that he speaks French at working level and delivers a text that doesn't carry it has answered the question himself.

The two-minute test

Read three profiles in a row and mentally strike every sentence that could apply to anyone at all. „Charming, well-groomed, discreet“ applies to everyone. What survives is the actual information.

If nothing survives, that tells you something: either someone else writes the profiles, or no real filtering happened. Either way it is a signal.

When a photo catalogue is the better choice

If the visual impression matters to you more than anything else, and discretion plays no great role in your situation, then a photo catalogue is faster and frankly more convenient. There is no reason to talk it down.

If on the other hand you are visible professionally or privately, if bearing matters more to you than looks, or if you have already had an evening fail on everything except appearance, then text gives you the more relevant information.

Combining both

The workable option is rarely either-or. Pre-decide through text and conversation, then move the visual impression into the private exchange once contact is made. You get both kinds of information, without either being publicly indexed.

How our catalogue is built is visible in the profiles. Why we chose text is explained in why the best companions don't put a photo online.

FAQ

Isn't a text profile harder to verify?

Rather the opposite. A text can be read for consistency, language level and bearing. An image can't be checked for behaviour.

Can I filter by appearance?

Build, height and style are in every profile. What's missing is the face, and that is a deliberate decision.

What if looks genuinely matter to me?

Then say so in the enquiry. It is a legitimate criterion and we deal with it openly rather than pretending it doesn't count.
